How often does the Puttgarden-Rødby ferry run?+
Usually every 30 minutes during the day, with up to 45 departures in each direction per day. Services are less frequent at night; use the times above for your chosen date.
How long does the crossing take?+
45 minutes for the roughly 20-kilometre crossing of the Fehmarn Belt. Strong winds may make the journey slightly longer.
Do I have to book a specific departure?+
Standard and Flex tickets are valid for all departures on your travel day. Only a Low Price ticket ties you to the booked ferry. See Fares & tickets for the differences.
Does the timetable also cover the return journey?+
Yes. The timetable shows departures in both directions, from Puttgarden and from Rødby.
When do I need to be at check-in?+
