Scandlines sells the crossing by vehicle: the driver and all passengers are included in the car ticket. The amount you pay therefore depends mainly on the ticket type and how early you book. Prices vary with demand and season; the booking flow shows the current amount for your departure.

The table below uses the operator's product names and official international-market prices in euros. You book directly with Scandlines, where you will see the live price for your chosen sailing.

The difference between online fares and the harbour price is the biggest saving available: booking online can cost almost half as much as buying the same crossing at the terminal. Low Price and Standard starting prices vary by date and departure, so the booking flow shows which is cheaper for your travel day.

Which fare should you choose?

• Low Price is available online only and applies solely to the booked departure, without changes or refunds. It suits travellers whose date and departure time are fixed.
• Standard is valid for all departures on the travel day. With a service roughly every 30 minutes during the day, you can normally take the next ferry if you miss one.
• Flex is fully flexible, can be changed free of charge and is refundable. The higher price can be worthwhile if your travel plans may change.
• Easy Return combines a fixed outward journey with an open return.
• Day-return is intended for an outward and return journey on the same day.

Whatever the fare, Scandlines gives you a contractual 24-hour period after booking in which you can cancel free of charge. This is not a statutory cooling-off right for transport services. You can cancel unused tickets through your Scandlines booking; changes made through customer service incur a fee plus any fare difference. The Scandlines terms are binding.

Motorbike, bicycle and foot passenger fares

The motorbike ticket covers up to three people, provided the vehicle combination is no longer than 2.5 metres. Foot passengers can use the pedestrian day-return ticket, while taking a bicycle adds a supplement to the passenger fare.

Combination tickets for onward travel

For onward travel to Sweden, Scandlines combines the ferry with either the Øresund Bridge or the Helsingør-Helsingborg crossing in one booking.

The combination ticket includes the bridge toll or second ferry in the same purchase, so no separate payment is needed when you continue towards Sweden.
