puttgarden-rodby.net is an independent information and planning guide to the Puttgarden-Rødby ferry. The route is part of the Vogelfluglinie and runs between Puttgarden on Fehmarn and Rødby on Lolland. Scandlines operates the service. The crossing of the Fehmarn Belt takes around 45 minutes, with up to 45 departures in each direction.

With a 45-minute crossing and sailings every half hour, choosing a departure is rarely the main issue. The ticket matters more: whether you book in advance or buy at the port, how the fare covers your car and passengers, and how much time to allow for reaching Puttgarden if your fare applies to only one departure. We organise the timetable, fares, ships and port access around those decisions. We also cover the Fehmarn Belt tunnel being built alongside the route.
